Cranes for Cancer
Two years ago, I went to visit a senior in high school who was suffering from Bone Cancer. At first we gave her a cup of candy with a crane on top. Then we sent her a crane a day until the day she recovered. Right now she is attending Nova Community College as a sophmore. In this case, cranes represent the hope of living another day. Our purpose is to show that we care and support one as long as they belive they will have tomorrow.
